Join us for our Fall Enrichment Festival on October 31st from 9AM to 2PM to watch animals play with pumpkins and stomp and chomp their way through Fall treats. It`s a family-friendly way to see how enrichment keeps our animals active and engaged. Swipe to see the schedule! 🍂 🎃
The skeleton of a meerkat is built to excel at digging and burrowing. Their long forearms give them an advantage to sift sand at rapid and efficient pace. They`ve also evolved to not need a thumb or big toe, leaving them with four powerful digits per paw to act as modified shovels! #Skeletober
This National Wolf Awareness Week we`re sharing an update on our red wolf pair, Cypress and Daisy. Red wolves are the most endangered species of wolf in the world and their survival as a species depends on a collaborative breeding and reintroduction program led by zoos and the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service.
